Laura Gevanter Bio

After a 15 year career as a Marketing Executive in the beauty Industry, with extracurricular activities consisting of; helping produce a Sunday night radio show on health practices; being a regular on a cable television morning exercise program called Breakfast Time, studying nutrition with one of the country’s foremost Health educators and becoming a certified Fitness Instructor, Laura discovered her purpose and passion: Life Coaching. With a degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst already under her belt, Laura attained her Life Coaching certification from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching in New York City.

Her credentials are exceedingly well rounded not only by her formal education, but more importantly, her own life experience and curious nature. As a life coach Laura seeks to instill new perspective. “I approach coaching the way I have always lived my life. There is always more than one way of looking at something and always more than one solution.”

Laura’s intention is to assist her clients to look at situations in ways they might not have previously. “If feel it is a gift if you can inspire someone to think about something in a way he or she never has before”. Laura coaches individuals who are open to new and innovative ways of looking at what is possible and are willing to move beyond their comfort zone to achieve breakthroughs. She refocuses their attention on what they want most in life and helps them attain it. In her current Sag Harbor, New York office, Laura reflects and comments “ Coaching is about where you are right now and how to create the vision and take action to get you where you want to be:” When not Life Coaching, Laura can be seen coaching people to Race Walk in the beautiful landscape of The Hamptons.
